Our wine list attempts to highlight variety and value, and, to compliment our food.

We’ve organized the list in the following way:

Take, for example:

Xinomavro, Boutari, Naoussa, Grande Reserve, Naoussa, Greece 1999

 

Grape varietal: The name of the grape.

 

Xinomavro, which means “acid-black,” is an ancient grape grown primarily in Macedonia

and is believed to be the ancestor of the Pinot Noir grape.

 

Producer: Boutari Vineyards, Greece’s largest producer and distributor of fine wines.

 

Name/Designation: Sometimes a wine is named by its producer.  In this case, the “Naoussa” is named after the village of its origin.  Some wines also receive a “designation” that distinguishes

an aspect of the winemaking process.

 

Region/Country: Naoussa, a tiny village on the island of Paros, part of the Cyclades Islands

in Greece.
